Elysian Park Couple Session

This session was super important to me because it was my first couple session in LA! I was honestly a little nervous because I hadn’t photographed a couple in over a year, but couples are my favorite to work with so the excitement really overshadowed the nerves.

I met Belle through social media and thought her and her husband, Austin, were too cute!! I told her I was looking for couples to photograph so I could get back into couple photography and start up with it again out in Los Angeles.

Elysian Park was one of the first places I visited when I first moved to LA. It seems almost iconic in a sense- coming from a small town girl from Indiana, that is. 😂 But, being able to see the skyline of Downtown Los Angeles, the Dodgers’ Stadium, a palm tree lined road, and even the ocean on a good day??? It’s pretty cool.

We only spent a short amount of time shooting during golden hour and I was so so happy with the results! This adorable couple made my first LA session a breeze.

This couple session with Belle and Austin really helped to set me in motion to go after what I love to do! It reminded me how much joy I get photographing love and giving people memories of now to treasure forever. I love spending sessions with my clients getting to capture the true beauty behind their love and personalities. It’s so much fun to meet new people and hear their stories while allowing them to just share time together appreciating each other and delivering them beautiful images after.
