The past week, I got to get out to Malibu Creek State Park and do a family portrait content shootout day with MacKenzie Pudenz Photography! I was so excited to not only get to photograph this gorgeous family at their amazing ranch home, but it was awesome to get to learn from MacKenzie and I’m so thankful she put this shoot together for us to gather!

She styled the family in gorgeous colors with various textures and patterns mixed in. She added in beautiful brands like Joyfolie, The Simple Folk, and Rylee + Cru! Their outfits were absolutely gorgeous in the warm landscape of the ranch. Not only did I get to do photos with this family, but they also included their donkeys and dogs, too! It was honestly a dream. I’ve always wanted to photograph a family on their own property and be able to create an album of your “daily memories” that are enhanced and can be cherished long after those days have passed. This session fulfilled that vision and then some, it really just set my soul on fire 🔥❤️

I loved getting to photograph the children running around together; playing and exploring the land. It’s so fun getting to know the kiddos during my family sessions, they hold so much pure joy and excitement about life and I love to feed off that. Getting the children comfortable and having fun right off the bat really helps show off each personality throughout the shoot and makes for the best final photos.

I can’t wait to work with more families and couples throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas to achieve this bold, colorful style of portraits. I’m currently running a Model Call to shoot a few more sessions and build my page a bit more.
