Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple at a stunning beach near Santa Monica. This beach was recently affected by the storms in the area, which actually gave us a certain rugged beauty to contrast this simple session. We experienced a cloudy day at the beach with a marine layer, creating a completely different atmosphere compared to a sunny day. Despite the lack of direct sunlight, the muted light created a serene and calming ambiance and the soft light with the clouds and mist added a layer of interest and depth to the images.
