Nohelia at Santee Studios

Creating with Nohelia is always so much fun and refreshing. I absolutely love the results of every session we have together. For these portraits, we rented out Santee Studios in the Flower District of DTLA. This space is huge and packed with all the equipment, sitting props, and backdrop colors you could need, it even has a waiting area, a bathroom, and a kitchenette with a stocked fridge. Nohelia & I worked for a couple hours with a couple different set colors to get some classic but fun updated headshots and portraits. I really love this setting with Nohelia because her tattoos against the single colored background POP so much and look amazing. Nohelia’s personality and style shine so much in all sessions, but I really think studio sessions spotlight YOU and the little details like tattoos and style because there are absolutely no other distractions. It’s so fun to work with such an amazing and confident model who can really control the frame and boldly shine in settings like this.
